The IPMF Philosophy

Ensuring technology products better serve the needs of marginalized user groups can lead to significant short-term and long-term benefits.

Technology products often overlook the unique needs of marginalized communities, including those defined by gender, disability, caste, sexual orientation, and other markers. This oversight results in significant loss of value, as these segments represent substantial economic power: women control over USD 30 trillion, the LGBTQ community contributes USD 4.6 trillion, and the Purple Economy (people with disabilities) is worth at least USD 8-12 trillion.
The Inclusive Product Management Fellowship (IPMF) in India addresses this issue by providing companies with the tools to create inclusive products. Our program focuses on reducing information asymmetry and offering customized design and prototyping support for marginalized users. We aim to collaborate with over 10 companies in our first cohort and scale to hundreds of product managers annually, making inclusive product management the standard in the Indian and Asian tech ecosystems.
